The company is vertically integrated and encompasses all transformation processes, from the reception of basic raw materials (polyethylene pellets) to shipping of the finished product. The three basic operations carried out at the production plant are: Extrusion, Printing and Converting.

Extrusion Printing and Laminating Converting

EXTRUSION Our customer´s requirements and our strategy of constant innovation represent a high level of progress in co-extrusion know-how addressed at producing higher performance products. Our extrusion equipment has: Efficient computer resources for automatic thickness control. Automatic raw material and additive feeders which permit a perfect blend of materials. Systems for obtaining extremely consistent films with regard to optical mechanical, skidding, texture and other qualities. Automatic Controls to reduce average thickness and accurate tolerances. Units for the suppression of electrostatic loads and blocking problems in films.

PRINTING AND LAMINATING Being aware of the increasingly higher demand for packing presentation, Aspla have invested heavily to improve Printing and Laminating section, which now ranks first in the sector. This is evidenced by the following data: Several flexographic printing lines using up to eight colours. Possibility of half tone printing and high definition shading. Design Department, and Pre-Printing, for realization of normal printing plates and computed to plate (CTP). Printing development from 330 mm to 1,300 mm. Possibility to print films with a width of up to 1,700 mm. Multi-layer film printing and laminating using the same or different raw materials.

CONVERTING Aspla have enhanced their wide range of finished products following the addition of new state-of-the-art production lines. Accordingly, we can now supply the following products: Disposable bags for nappies ­ Compress-Pack Asplablock sacks in reels for automatic packing (perforation and sealing on bottom and corners). Co-extruded 8 colour embossed open-mouth sacks. Embossed valve sacks, printed up to 8 colours. Special bags for sliced bread. Bin liners in rolls with self-closing system. PE, PVC or PET sleeves for bottles with flexographic or gravure printing. Printed covers for pallets. Laminated films printed in 8 colours.
